Our Story

Mission: To empower women through versatile fashion that reflects their evolving identity.

Vision: To redefine modern luxury through creativity, confidence, and personal expression.

Values:

  • Intentionality over excess — every detail matters, nothing is gratuitous.

  • Grace without compromise — strength in kindness, presence in power.

  • Presence over performance — genuine expression outweighs performative display.

  • Luxury as restraint — refinement is in what’s left unsaid and unseen.

**Remember, the first and last thing you must always wear is CONFIDENCE**

Viva Emerie, owned by Ramatu Fofanah (Ramluv), is a women’s clothing brand created to celebrate human connection, creativity, and confidence. Founded in 2021, Viva Emerie draws inspiration from architecture and is rooted in the principle of versatility.

Ramatu’s journey began in Sierra Leone, where she grew up during a civil war and once owned only seven pieces of clothing, uniforms. From this experience, she learned the power of adaptation and versatility, discovering how to create multiple expressive, eye-catching looks from just one garment. This became the foundation of Viva Emerie.

At 15, Ramatu honed her styling skills by creating looks for beauty pageant contestants, working with only her limited wardrobe. Later, in college, she launched fohstyling, a fashion blog dedicated entirely to creating different outfits from a single piece of clothing.

Viva Emerie is the culmination of Ramatu’s expertise in wardrobe innovation, her love for architecture, and her desire to celebrate human connection through fashion. Every design is crafted to make women feel daring yet luxurious, striking yet empowered transforming everyday dressing into an act of self-expression and confidence.
